Under 12 Championship Portlaoise v Harps

The game was dominated by the Harps from start to finish. Laura Walsh got the 1st score of the match when she buried the sliotar in the back of the Portlaoise net. Portlaoise responded with a point which was to be their only score on the day. The score at 1/2 time was Portlaoise 0-1, The Harps 1-0. In the second half The Harps besieged the Portlaoise goal for most of the half. Eimear Delaney scored a lovely point from play and had a great game. But Kate Doogue who came on as a sub at 1/2 time made the biggest impression on the score with 3 lovely goals to her credit. It was a good display from the Harps under their Coach Ger Brophy and selector Mary Donaghue.
The final score was Portlaoise 0-1,The Harps 4-1.
