Orlaith Delaney was excellent in goals, pulling off some great saves. The backs stood solid and were like a brick wall against their opposition with Shannon Saunders and Niamh Delaney playing out of their skin. Lorna Campion got the first goal of the match from one of her trademark solos and striking to the net. Next to score was Edel Costigan with a goal of her own.
