GAA President’s Award for Mary Donohue

Mary Donohue was honoured with a GAA President’s Awards in Croke Park this year.

A founding member of Harps Camogie Club, Mary was commended for her unstinting dedication to the club, occupying a variety of roles since its establishment in 1995.

Speaking about the award Uachtarán Cumann Camógaíochta na nGael Joan O’Flynn:

“I am delighted to congratulate Mary Donohue on receiving the GAA President’s Award for her contribution to Camogie in her native club The Harps in Laois. Voluntarism brings Camogie to life all over the country. Mary is typical of many people doing extraordinary things developing Camogie everyday in schools, clubs and parishes. On behalf of the Camogie Association I am very pleased to recognise Mary and her family’s dedication and generosity in ‘giving something back’ and making a lasting contribution to her community”
