The Harps Camogie Club

The countdown is on to the All Ireland Intermediate Club Camogie final between Harps and Eoghan Rua of Derry.

Under 10, under 12, under 16 and senior training is currently underway. New and past players are welcome to attend all training sessions. Camogie President Joan O’Flynn presented the girls with their county and Leinster medals from 2009 at the Harps dinner dance in the Castle Arms Hotel.

Congradulations to our brilliant centre back Catriona Phelan on being chosen as Laois Camogie Player of the year for 2009. A natural leader with an incredable ability to read the game of camogie, she is long overdue recognition by her peers.

Louise Mahony picked up a Soaring Star award at the 2009 camogie all stars. The Soaring Star awards are the All Stars for the Junior grade of counties.
