The Harps had a great start to the 2010 season when they defeated Ferns on a scoreline of 4-12 to 2-4 in the Leinster League. The girls played a great game, considering we had only 15 girls on the day.

The Harps Camogie club committee for 2009 is:
The camogie team received their Laois, Leinster and All Ireland medals at the recent club dinner dance. Kilkenny manager Brian Cody presented the medals to the girls.
There was a special player of the match award from the county final which went to Claire Walsh.

Congratulations to Louise Mahony who picked up the camogie player of the year award at the 2008 Laois GAA awards.
The awards were presented on Friday November 22nd in the Heritage Hotel Portlaoise.

The under 18 county final is on in Rathdowney on Saturday Novemver 22nd between Harps and Camross.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the recent church gate collections. Over €2,500 was raised.
All roads lead to Nenagh for the All Ireland Club final on Sunday next at 2.30pm as the girls go for their third title in a row.

McDonagh Park GAA Grounds Nenagh
The Woodenbridge Paddlers held a raft race on the river Erkina at the weekend in aid of the Harps Camogie Club.
Over €2,000 was raised and great fun was had by all.
Refreshments were given afterwards in Bobs Bar and prize giving in Caochs in Ballacolla.
Louise Mahony was once again awarded with an All Star nomination following her displays with Laois and Harps this year. The Camogie All Stars take place on November 8th in the CityWest Hotel.
